Please help us welcome our newest teammate, Mac Murphy! Mac originally hails from Tennessee and is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan.

Mac enjoys a busy life with their partner and cats, Fig and Bumi. In addition to being a practicing therapist, Mac is also a researcher in public health. They enjoy frequenting local diners and cafes as well as game nights with friends.

Mac has a strong background in trauma-informed practices, LGBT issues, youth and victims of trafficking. They are a compassionate, direct therapist who makes everyone feel welcomed.

Introducing co-founder, Allie VanSickle.

Allie is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work but is originally from Kansas City. Allie has been working in private practice for her entire career. Allie has a great passion for animals (mom to 2 dogs and 4 cats) and hopes to bring equine assisted therapy to Mindful Crossroads Counseling in the near future. If you are lucky, you might find her sweet fur baby, Gryff (short for Gryffindor as Allie is a Harry Potter fan) here at the office.

Allie is married with a beautiful 1 year old child and was a foster parent at one time. In her free time, you might find Allie hanging out in a baby music or swim class.
