It's giving Tuesday and we have the privilege of working with community foundations to raise money for the women and children of the eastern shore. I may not be able to provide care currently but this allows Dr. Harris to fill in for me!

Asking for donations! Coastal Care Chiropractic & Holistic Center supports our pregnant moms, kids and families without insurance and fixed income.
Currently, the only funding we are getting to provide discounted rates is from Iman Family Chiropractic and Wellness.
Our CCC members pay discounted rates for their care which helps go towards the cost of operations but most of it is falling on Iman Chiropractic (Me, Dr. Iman).
If you are in a position to help it's tax deductible!

CCC is our non-profit for pregnant mamas, kiddos and families that don't have insurance or on a fixed income. Iman Chiropractic is funding all operational cost of CCC currently. Iman Chiropractic is seeing less practice members as we fit in CCC practice members which takes away from our main income....

What is Coastal Care all about you ask? Iman Chiropractic already exists why another chiropractic office with a different name working out of the same office spaces?

This was me (I think 10 years ago) in my parents living room on a Sunday afternoon. This little 5 week was severely constipated. His mom posted on Facebook his story and their planned trip to John Hopkins to see a specialist.

I reached out to her and told her she needed to bring him to me. She didn't think I could help. His pediatrician told her they thought it was a nerve issue and a resection surgery of his colon was what they thought he needed.

I explained chiropractic to her and how we adjust areas of the spine to allow for proper communication of the nerves. She decided to bring him over just to give it a try! She was terrified so she sat in the other room while I checked him. Once she handed him to me this fussy baby had a sense of calmness about him.

His adjustment went smoothly and they left not long after. The next day I received a text at 6 am from the grandmother. "We have p**p!!! It's everywhere!!". I will never forget that text!

His insurance required a referral from his pediatrician to pay for his care. The pediatrician would not give them one. So I adjusted this little boy for weeks after without compensation. I could not let this little infant go through such drastic measures all because his pediatrician did not believe/understand chiropractic. The family could not afford the care and would have had no other option but to follow through with an unnecessary surgery.

This is why Coastal Care Chiropractic & Holistic Center exist! We currently work off of a sliding fee scale and will continue to do so. I would like to have funds available for those that can not afford even our lowest fees for circumstances like this, one day. That will require donations from our community and fundraising events. All donations made are tax deductible!

The pelvic organs have an incredible level of vasularity. Take a look at the arteries surrounding the uterus and ovaries. Unbelievable! Now insert surgical scar tissue from a laparoscopy, laparotomy, c-section, appendectomy ect.

Welcome! Coastal Care Chiropractic is an extension of Iman Family Chiropractic and Wellness for those that don't know. CCC is our non-profit practice for pregnancy, pediatrics, fertility and active military members. We believe Chiropractic care should be available to everyone not just those with insurance coverage.
