We are prepping... So excited... Furniture is ordered, paint is selected, families are being notified, and Ms. Jaime is wigging out just a little bit!

If you have boxed (medium to large), please bring them to the office, we can definitely recycle them during the move!

Just a friendly reminder to our patients to pay attention to the text message alerts!!! This will also be VERY important when we move, as the address will show what location of your appointment.

2023 treated us really well, and for the last week of the year, we are taking a very needed break from work!

Even though we haven’t been seeing patients this week… we have been working! So we can bring our families some amazing things in 2024! One of those includes a move for our Salisbury office, to a space that is more than double our current office space! We were able to spend some time there the other day marking and measuring the rooms that they need to build out! We are so excited!!!! Stay tuned for more updates!

Do you have to struggle to get your child to write? Are you unable to decipher what your child has written? We can help with that... Smiley Pediatric Therapy is so excited to offer Smiley Handwriting as a group class! Our goal is to make handwriting FUN... but also to develop confidence while improving hand strength, pencil grasp, letter formation, letter reversal, spacing, size, and speed of writing.

Are you interested?! Either call the office or Comment "Pencil ✏️" and we will reach out to you to discuss further information! Class size will be limited so don't miss out on this opportunity!

Did you know this ⬇️? It is true. We had 2 young kids that came to us due to difficulty with speech intelligibility, meaning that they were very hard to understand when talking. Six months after their tongue tie was released, their services were us were discontinued, as they had made such wonderful progress!!! WHAT!?!?

Let's say this loud enough for the people in the back.... We do not recommend releasing ties due to concerns about possible speech sound difficulty in the future. Instead, we look at current form and function. What and how is it impacting the child (right now)?!

Has your child been in speech therapy for years and made limited progress? Can your child make the sounds in isolation or in words, but continues to struggle with the sound production in conversation or sentences? Consider having your child assessed for oral ties!
