Democracy doesn't die in daylight -- it's dismantled piece by piece. Today's emergency powers become tomorrow's routine, yesterday's unthinkable becomes today's policy. Time to say NO: America has NO KINGS!
Over 2,500 protests are now planned in all 50 states and around the world on Saturday, October 18 to show what genuine strength looks like in a democracy! From city blocks to small towns, the American people are taking action to reject authoritarianism and fear as governance.
Now is the time to take to heart the call to action from the great statesman and civil rights leader John Lewis who declared: "When you see something that is not right, you must say something. You must do something. Democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part."
