❓What does writing in cursive have to do with brushing teeth?
✍🏼Well….. in the past we would encourage families to help your little one brush, or even brush a 2nd time after they’ve finished, until they’re good at writing in cursive!
🖐️ it’s not necessarily their age, but the movement/control in their hand, fingers, & wrist in all directions! Surprising right ⁉️
➡️ Now that most schools no longer have this in their curriculum…. What would be your “test” as a caregiver ? Remember, we’re looking for hand movements, not how many times they brush a day (or how many times you have to remind them to brush 🤣)
🎨🎸🏓 Dexterity with art mediums? An instrument? Sport?
