Happy 7th Birthday to Chesapeake Family Practice!!!! One day late technically because this week was so crazy I forgot to pick up my own darn cake yesterday!!! Thank you to all of our patients, friends, and family who’ve supported us along the way!! You all know who you are! We’ve learned a ton as business owners in 7 years… still with plenty to learn and grow but here we are, still growing! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our future as Chesapeake Family Practice!! .kane2

One of the saddest yet happiest days of my life. Today we lost you, my big brother, exactly one year ago. It’s also the day I celebrate my amazing daughters birthday, one of the happiest moments of my life. On a day where I’m not sure what to even feel, I can say I miss you so so much. I miss your voice. Your ridiculous little Johnny jokes. Our late night conversations when we were surely drinking too much and pondering all life’s ups and downs. And making plans together. We never got to take that off shore trip. You never got to see me take your princess camping, or fishing…(“shishing” she calls it). But damn we’re you loved. Your friends came out and showed up at your funeral. I pray you were watching from above seeing how many people loved you fiercely. I don’t believe you’d want me to be sad today. So I’m going to celebrate my girl. But rest assured not a day goes by that I don’t talk to you, and think of you. I hope your proud of me, and I hope you smile every time we get your girl. She loves her papa so much, and my hope is that she never goes a day without knowing how much her papa loves her. Until we meet again. Love you big brother.

Junior journey build day troop 1059 🤩🤩🤩🤩 these girls (and grown ups) have worked VERY hard for this badge and project. Music in the woods will go live at Camp Sandy Pines next month all thanks to their hard work!!! Hopefully some other scouts in the community will enjoy some day 😍😍
