Guest speaker & Author Adis Ziga, entertained questions from our Lifelong learners about his book “The Empty Chocolate Wrapper” which chronicles the journey of his family who fled from war torn Bosnia. Adis drew a large crowd including friends from his time spent working in the Trinity Oaks kitchen as a chef when he was a HS & college student.

Our lifelong learners explored the Health Sciences programs with our friends at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College North Campus on a VIP tour. The Instructors exuded such passion and the students showed great professionalism in their presentations from the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiology and Dental programs. The interactive timeline of 60+ years came to life with RCCC Board Member Jeanie Moore, who retired from RCCC. Residents came away encouraged and eager to share to good works happening in these impressive programs! Much appreciation to Connie Rheinecker, Aaron Tallman and Wendy Barnhardt as well, for their time!
