It's Health Literacy month and I want people to really understand what uncontrolled blood pressure does to your body, specifically the kidneys. It's my favorite organ and I definitely couldn't fit the vastness of this organ into a short video so there may be a part 2 or 3 😬

Last week I celebrated 20 years out of high school. Honestly I feel more vibrant now than I did 20 years ago. I've learned to set boundaries, give myself grace, keep my gut health in check and of course intensified my skin regimen. I have learned to give my body what it needs from whole Foods, hydration, exercise and rest. I've learned, it's okay to age. When you're treating your body right and giving it what it needs you're going to feel your best and show up as your best self. ✨💫💓

When I'm not with patients you catch me in my garden. Work life balance is a must. I'm using the last tomato harvest for homemade spaghetti 🍝 sauce. Once you make it yourself you can never go back to store bought!
