As a provider, I talk about nervous system regulation all day.
Chronic stress dysregulates cortisol, disrupts sleep, tanks hormones, and wreaks havoc on gut health. We know this. But knowing it and actually doing something about it are two very different things.
So I created myself a space that was intentionally, unapologetically mine. 🌿
Warm light. Living plants. No noise. No to-do list. Just a room that tells my nervous system you’re safe and you can slow down now.
My truth is I cannot pour from an empty cup. And as moms, providers, caretakers, stay at home moms, teachers, business women we are always pouring.
Your environment is medicine. Your rest is medicine.
You are worth the space.
Start small. A corner. A chair. A candle. Frame pictures that bring you joy.
Build yourself something that belongs to you. 🕯️🌱
