In 1968, the Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity & Development Center was opened to provide services to individuals with disabilities. Hermon Rd in Salisbury, MD and was renamed to its present name of Dove Pointe. Dove Pointe is now a leading organization of its kind in the area providing a wide range of quality services for individuals with disabilities.

Linda Leaf, 74, of Salisbury passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Leaf and Thelma Talley.
Linda loved watching I Love Lucy.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mildred Shenberger and Margaret Talley; and her Dove Pointe family.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:30 am at Dove Pointe.
