Well, we finished with a BANG! Rowan County athletes did amazing this weekend at the Special Olympics North Carolina Equestrian Tournament at Tryon International Equestrian Center! These girls came home with all red and blue! Five 1st place medals and three 2nd place medals! They competed in Dressage, Working Trails, and Equitation. We all had a blast and are thankful for a safe weekend! Thank you to all the volunteers and parents that supported us and for Rowan County Special Olympics for sending us to the state tournament!

We got off to a great start at Special Olympics this weekend! We have one more day of classes and then we head home. We are doing great with 2 1st place medals and 2 2nd place medals so far!
