UPDATE: Power Restored! Thank you Cookson Hills for working so hard to get everyone fixed!

A power outage caused by severe weather at approximately 7:00 A.M. today has significantly impacted our ability to work on site today. Currently, our utility provider has not been able to provide an estimate of restoration of power. Due to this, all laboratory staff have been sent home, and all business phones are inoperable. Please email info@ok.steephill.com to reach out with any inquiries in the meantime.

We expect to be have all remote operations restored by this afternoon. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Had a great time meeting patients/growers/processors at the first annual Fire by Fritz Field Day hosted . We were able to speak about the importance of quality testing and navigating the complexities of the ever evolving regulatory updates in regards to lab testing for growers/patients/caregivers/dispensaries/processors. Cannabis is a "bio-accumulator" that absorbs heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic during cultivation. If cannabis is grown in soils containing metals such as these, it could easily contain heavy metals harmful to humans (Russo).

If your test results indicate trace amounts of heavy metals, we can do R&D testing for your soil and/or water to help identify where heavy metals could be contaminating your flower.
