At Bristol Hospice, we witness daily the peace that comes when individuals make their healthcare wishes known. Conversations about end-of-life care can be difficult—but they are also deeply empowering.
Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to think about what matters most to you and your loved ones. Whether it’s completing an advance directive or simply starting the conversation, making your decisions known is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family.

_"I will never forget the essence of comfort that Judy brought into my husband's Tucson hospital room. After too many days of confusion and deep pain, I knew we were going to be helped and even carried, just by the sound of her voice.

In less than a day, we had access to a power of attorney and Tom was transported home to Green Valley, where we settled into Haven. He was with us for only four more days, but during that time, every need Tom had was addressed. Ours too.

I can't put into words how easily I trusted and felt comfort from the gentle and talented nurses that were always by Tom's side or within reach. I wish I could remember each of their names. Please know that I and my family and friends who never left his side are forever grateful. Carry on...what you do is so important in our journeys of life and death. Angels indeed." – Marlee L.

💙 What does this mean?The Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) holds hospice providers to the highest standards in patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. A deficiency-free status means that Bristol met every requirement without a single citation—an achievement that truly sets us apart.

💙 An Unprecedented MilestoneIn 2024 alone, Bristol Hospice achieved 15 total deficiency-free surveys—including both CHAP and State surveys—an unheard-of accomplishment in the industry. But what makes this even more remarkable is that our entire company was audited at the corporate level and found to be deficiency-free across every operational and clinical area.
