It is not in every surgical procedure that a girdle is needed, of course, but for those who have undergone (or will soon undergo) a liposuction or abdominoplasty, for example, it is essential. It must be used for at least 30 consecutive days after surgery, which may extend to 45 days. After this period, the use of the brace can be interspersed, so that the body will get used to it...

For women who want to put silicone and have this doubt, it is important to clarify that loss of sensation is quite common, and this in any postoperative period.

In the case of breast augmentation, edema (swelling) and displacement of tissues contribute to this loss of sensation, but this is temporary: in the recovery process, the tissues return to normal and the sensitivity reappears.

But you can't go back to your routine right after plastic surgery, as the body needs time to recover.

For example, if you perform two surgeries together (silicone and abdominoplasty), the recovery period will be a little longer than that of another patient who underwent breast augmentation only. Everything will depend on the type of procedure and the patient's history.

The return to exercises should be done sparingly, following the guidelines of the post-surgical period and with the supervision of a professional. In general, the time to return to training varies from 30 to 90 days, but, as I said, each case is different and no one better than the doctor to assess whether you are already free for this type of activity.
