Over the past year, I’ve been going deeper into the longevity space and learning how to measure healthspan — not just lifespan.
One of the strongest predictors of long-term health is VO₂ max, which reflects how efficiently your body uses oxygen. This photo was taken during my VO₂ max test at DEXA Body.
In addition to VO₂ max testing, DEXA scans measure bone density and visceral fat — the type of fat most closely linked to chronic disease. I completed a DEXA scan last week to establish a baseline.
The real value comes from measuring, making an intervention (like weight loss or targeted training), and retesting to objectively track progress. They also assess resting metabolic rate and offer genetic insights as well.
Data drives better decisions.
