Economic Black Out February 28, 2025
This is it. The first real test. The first demonstration of power. The first time we send a shockwave through the system that has controlled us for too long.
On Friday, February 28th, we go dark. For 24 hours, we stop feeding the machine. No spending. No unnecessary purchases. No engagement with major corporations.
Because for decades, they’ve made you believe that you’re just a worker. Just a consumer. Just another cog in their endless cycle of profit and control.
But they’ve lied.
The truth is simple: they don’t run this country—we do. And the moment we choose to stop playing by their rules, the moment we cut off their supply, the moment we remind them that they need us, not the other way around, that’s the moment we begin to take control back.
WHAT HAPPENS ON FEBRUARY 28TH?
• No purchases. No Amazon. No Walmart. No Starbucks. No unnecessary gas fill-ups. No online orders.
• No engagement. Skip the big-brand entertainment, the news cycles designed to distract and divide.
• Absolute focus. This is about unity, discipline, and demonstrating collective will.
This is not a protest. It’s not a gimmick. It’s a warning shot.
Because if they ignore this one-day blackout?
We escalate. We go longer. We go deeper. And they will have to listen.
This is only the beginning.

It is 8 days until the election. Are you ready?

If you are voting by mail, have you received your ballot, filled it out and put it in an official drop box?

If you are voting in person, are you prepared, do you have a game plan for voting?

If you can vote early, do so, even though lines are super long, the line to vote on November 5th will be triple long.

If you are voting by mail, please fill out your ballot, if you have one, today and get it out. If you know someone who will need help getting their ballot to a drop box, help them. – This is doing something.

We plan weeks ahead for our Superbowl, World Series, NBA, and other sporting events parties. Have you planned out how you’re going to vote when going to the polls.

Before Utah was mailing ballots, I went to the polls. I expected long lines. On the 2012 election between Obama and Romney, it was cold, and the lines was super long, but I was prepared. The lines were super long for the Hillary/ Trump, but I was prepared.

I made sure I knew where my polling place was and that I was registered.

I made sure I had my voters registration card, and proper ID to vote.

If it was to be cold or snowy, I prepared to dress warmly.

If I was working, I made sure I went before work, or left work early enough, but in some cases, I took that day off
I planned out where the nearest restrooms were, and had people come to keep my place in line, if I needed a restroom break.

I’ve seen people with those portable stools and chairs to sit if they are in a long line.

I made sure to take with me bottled water, a snack, …anything that would make standing in a long line easier.
I always tried to go with someone. Having someone to talk with while in line makes it seem to go faster.

This is how I prepared myself if I was going to the polls. So, I say to you again, if you are going to vote in person, do you have a plan, but the line is going to be extremely long? Even if you vote early, the line in sone places will be extremely long

So simply mail in your ballot, voting early, or preparing yourself to vote on November 5th . Is the first way of Doing Something.
