Our full time staff includes licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists, dietitians, registered nurses, CNA’s, licensed social workers, case managers, and more. Highland Care Center is a subsidiary of Eduro Healthcare. Eduro is an integrated healthcare delivery system that’s focus is on improving the quality of life for both patients and employees. All Eduro facilities are focused on creating a healthy welfare for patients through compassionate, efficient care. Blanket Donation Drive-Please help us give back to our community!

As the weather gets colder, many people in our community are struggling to stay warm. To help give back, we are organizing a Blanket Donation Drive to support individuals experiencing homelessness.

🧣 What we’re collecting:

New or gently used blankets (any size)
Please make sure items are clean and in good condition

📍 Where to drop off:
Highland Care Center North lobby in the large basket.

🗓 Donation deadline:
December 15th

All donated blankets will be delivered to local organizations that support people in need in our community.

🦃✨ What a wonderful night! Our annual Family Thanksgiving Dinner brought together residents, families, and staff for an evening filled with warmth, great food, and gratitude. Thank you to all who attended—you make our community feel like home. ❤️🍂

🐠✨ A day under the sea—without leaving Utah! ✨🐠

Our residents had a wonderful time exploring the aquarium today. From colorful fish and graceful stingrays to playful otters and majestic sharks, there was so much to see and enjoy. 🦈🐧

Outings like this bring joy, laughter, and new memories, and we’re grateful for the chance to share these experiences together. 💙

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Kale Stringham, CNA 🌟

Meet Kale! Born right here in Salt Lake City, Kale joined Highland Care Center after a teacher’s recommendation—and just celebrated his one-year anniversary with us! 🎉

When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Kale didn’t hesitate: “The people. Every day I feel better being able to be around them. Everyone is so sweet—it makes it a really great place to work.”

Outside of work, Kale has plenty of passions that keep him busy, including gardening, reading, and landscaping. At home, he enjoys the company of his beloved cat. And if you’re really lucky, you might even get to hear his spot-on Jennifer Coolidge impression—his hidden talent that always brings smiles!

We’re grateful for Kale’s positivity, kindness, and dedication to our residents and team. 💙

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a sweet and simple treat during cooking class—no-bake cheesecake bites! 🧁🍓
With laughter, teamwork, and creativity, everyone had a wonderful time preparing (and tasting!) these delicious little desserts.

We love how activities like this bring joy, connection, and a dash of sweetness to our community. 💜

Our group enjoyed delicious charcuterie, refreshing drinks, and a creative activity making “Mommy & Me” bracelets to support Share Parents of Utah, a meaningful organization providing comfort to families experiencing infant and pregnancy loss.

It was such a special time spent together, filled with connection, creativity, and giving back to a cause close to the heart. 💖

🎨 When Therapy Meets Creativity 🖌️

Our Occupational Therapy team knows that healing isn’t just about exercises—it’s about finding joy in the process. This week, they worked along with our recreation team guiding residents through a hands-on pottery class that combined creativity, fine motor skills, and a whole lot of fun.
