Join JFS' Dementia Friendly Activity at Gardner Village for a spooky stroll through 50 witch-themed displays among 30,000 pounds of pumpkins, 20,000 pounds of straw and hundreds of bunches of cornstalks that decorate the grounds! Costumes are welcome (but optional) as we join the scavenger hunt, have lots of fun photo ops and end with some harvest-time treats.

Jewish Family Service and the Alex and Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry will be closed on Tuesday, October 7 in observance of the first day of Sukkot. We will re-open on Wednesday, October 8.

A big thank you to the incredible Adobe employees who volunteered today at the JFS Alex & Sally Lebwohl Pantry! As part of Adobe’s Be Involved Month, team members spent their morning helping us sort, stock, and distribute food to individuals and families in need.

We’re especially grateful to Adobe for selecting JFS as a partner in this inspiring initiative and for choosing JFS this past year as an Adobe Employee Community Fund (ECF) grant recipient.

JFS is excited to launch a new Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group beginning October 21!

This 16-week, evidence-based workshop is designed to help participants build practical tools for:
• Mindfulness
• Emotional regulation
• Distress tolerance
• Interpersonal effectiveness

The workshop will be held virtually on Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 pm. Cost of each group session is $10 or $160 for the whole workshop. To learn more, contact Lily Hanscom, Director of Clinical Services, at clinical@jfsutah.org.
