We are what we continually do.
-
The body and mind continually changes depending on our actions. When we train strength, we get stronger. When we eat healthier, we get healthier. The opposite is true as well. When we are sedentary, things slow down and we weaken.
-
It’s important to take things gradual. If we start training everyday, eating perfectly prepared meals, and being active all at once, it can be too much and we fail. Failure can create doubt. And doubt creates fear which holds us back from reaching our potential.
-
Starting small makes things manageable. Going for a walk. Making a healthy dinner. Going to a group class once a week. It gives you victories everyday, which inspires confidence instead of doubt. Our bodies repair and rebuild stronger, and more resilient. Those steps become easy and habitual, which gives way to more healthy actions.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is strength and health. Start slow, and don’t stop.
