VA extends Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers eligibility for certain Veterans and their family caregivers through Sept. 30, 2028.

VA recommends that women 40-74 get screened for breast cancer every 2 years. You may also choose to get a mammogram every year. Mammogram costs are covered for Veterans receiving care at VA.Routine mammograms detect breast cancer early, so you can get treatment before it spreads.

Our leadership team joined in on our Employee Service Project helping bag up donations for our Food Hub and our Homeless and Justice Clinical Recovery teams to distribute to Veterans facing food and housing insecurity.

Our food bags contained some traditional Thanksgiving comfort foods like green beans, stuffing, and sweet potatoes. If you or someone you know is facing food-insecurity, contact our food hub in building 5 on our Salt Lake City campus.

For the 6th year, Ken Garff Automotive partnered with VA Salt Lake City to donate thanksgiving meals to Veterans and active duty families. Lines of cars came through the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center, Orem clinic and Ogden clinic as early as 5am last saturday.
