“I would wake up very concerned. And I couldn’t really figure out what made me so anxious and nervous, and it’s a terrible feeling.” As a Navy photographer stationed in Japan, Daniel captured the aftermath of a devastating tsunami. At home, he had trouble sleeping and frequently felt anxious. With encouragement from his wife, Gemini, Daniel sought mental health support. Watch Daniel describe the impact that counseling and his wife’s support have had on his life.

Bob Campbell is our Volunteer of the Month for September! He did one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam before coming home and getting married in 1971. Bob really enjoys volunteering, not only because he gets to meet other vets and share stories, but because he is also involved in the hospice program,” No Vet Dies Alone.” He feels so honored to sit along with other veterans on their “Final journeys”.
