As a member of Utah Mining Association, the Miners Hospital attended the 2026 UMA Awards Night on March 27, 2026. The University of Utah received the Community Partner award and Taylor Randall, the president of the University of Utah, was there to receive it. Fun night of meeting new people and seeing old friends.

Grateful for the relationship with Miners Colfax medical center out of Raton NM and Katrina from NOWCAP in Price. Our clinic days were completely full, and we had 18 walk-ins! And a big thanks to UMWA, district 22 for letting us all set up in their parking lot. Looking forward to future visits for black lung screenings. Potential August dates in Blanding, Utah.

We, at Miners Hospital, are grateful for the clinical staff at Parkway Health Center in Orem. Our program would not be as good as it is without them. We appreciate and thank them for all they do. I know they love working with miners hospital patients.

Miners Hospital team was given the opportunity to volunteer at the Utah food bank this year. We had a great time with all those who gave their time to put together freezer packs for our home bound seniors.

We participated in the Uinta Basin Energy Summit in Vernal, Utah for the first time. It was a great opportunity to introduce the Miners Hospital, connect, and collaborate with all who were there.

We ran into Representative Representative Christine Watkins - District 67s and the Utah Trust Lands Administration - TLAUtah Trust Land Administration — always a pleasure to connect with their teams.

Grateful for the chance to represent Miners Hospital and be part of this event.

Big thanks to Sufco mine for this years mine tour. A great opportunity for our occupational medicine residents and doctors to understand the work our Utah miners do, and the environment they work in.
