Yoganidrasana embodies transcendence—stepping beyond the ordinary states of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep into the realm of Turiya (superconsciousness). The deep tuck of the legs signifies inward withdrawal (Pratyahara), turning our focus inward, fostering spiritual clarity.
Practicing Yoganidrasana cultivates inner tranquility, patience, and resilience. It helps deepen my meditative focus, encouraging turning inward to connect with my inner divine. Just as Vishnu’s sleep sustains cosmic order, finding moments of stillness through this pose supports mental clarity and emotional balance in daily life. It reminds me that rest, surrender, and inner awareness are essential for my growth and transformation.
