One of the foundations of our relationship and the life we’ve built together is gratitude.
Years ago when Jake came back into my life, he said,
“I want what you have.”
So we started a simple daily habit:
texting each other 3 things we were grateful for every single day.
That habit changed our relationship.
It changed our mindset.
It changed the way we communicated.
It changed the way we experienced life.
Because gratitude shifts your focus.
Most people spend their lives focusing on what’s wrong, what’s missing, what they wish they had, or what still needs to change.
Meanwhile they miss the beauty, love, growth, and abundance that already exists right in front of them.
Gratitude helped us create more joy.
More connection.
More peace.
More abundance.
And it’s something we still practice today with our kids.
Your life does not have to be perfect to feel grateful.
But gratitude will absolutely change the way you experience your life.
If you want more joy, abundance, peace, and fulfillment, start a daily gratitude practice.
Not once in a while.
