One of our clinicians, Dr. Alex Ertl, is currently training to become a licensed Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator in the state of Colorado through the Natural Medicine Health Act... and he's sharing his learning journey 🤩 (If you missed Part 1 of this series, be sure to give it a read!)

In this second post, he reflects on...
• His first few days of training
• Inspiration from PAT instructors and peers
• The larger cultural, religious, and historical context of psychedelics
• The "supportive touch contract"

NOTE: This content is for audiences 21 and older. You’ll be asked to verify your age before accessing the blog.

We’re excited to offer the next round of PEERS® for Young Adults, an evidence-based social skills group for neurodivergent adults ages 18–35 🤩

This 14-week program helps participants build skills for friendships, workplace relationships, and romantic connections through clear, step-by-step guidance, role-plays, videos, and real-life practice.

Starting February 2026, the group meets weekly on Tuesdays, 5:15–6:45 p.m. MST, with virtual and in-person options, and costs $75 per week.

Led by Dr. Kalee Gross and Dr. Rachel Armstrong, PEERS® also invites social coaches to be involved, supporting skill use outside of sessions and helping participants gain confidence, independence, and self-advocacy in everyday social situations.

Interested individuals can complete our online screener to schedule a free consultation with Dr. Kalee Gross to answer any questions and make sure it's a good fit 😊

Every year we host a holiday charity drive to support a nonprofit organization in our community. This year, the beneficiary of our holiday charity drive is Lifting Hands International (LIH).

LHI provides direct, dignified support to refugees resettling in Utah and to displaced families around the world.

LHI's biggest needs:
• Feminine pads
• Newborn diapers
• Infant clothing (0 to 6 months)

If you're interested in helping us support this organization, there is a donation bin at our office. We will be collecting items from now through December 31st. 🥰
