I recently had a client who came in experiencing worsening chronic pain in his hip and back. After our initial assessment, I explained how his body was overly compressed on one side, causing discomfort and restricting movement, while the other side was overly decompressed. This imbalance had been causing him pain for years.
I introduced some targeted exercises focusing on managing pressure through diaphragmatic breathing, aiming to rebalance compression and decompression in his body. In just one session, without even progressing to alternating exercises (yet), he reported feeling 200% better!
This dramatic improvement highlights the power of PRI techniques in restoring balance and function to the body. By teaching his body to manage pressure better and restoring balanced tension, he was able to find relief.
