Today we celebrate Samhain, a time to honor the sacred moment as we turn toward the changing seasons. We are invited to remember the holiness of transitions, from the inhale to the exhale, from what was to what will be, from life to death. There we are offered a place to let things be complete, to trust what is falling away, to pause in stillness to create the room needed for what is next. The shadow, the mystery, the magic are our partners. May you know that as you embrace this moment before you, offering you pause, a place to ground. A time to know, understand and see the delight that is brewing in the darkness for you!

Have you given yourself the gift of a slowed down yoga practice?! A practice that brings you into a full somatic experience, feeling your way through your being?!

Restorative yoga is a way to bring consciousness to your relaxation. It allows you to be in the moment, to become aware of where the tension lives, to learn how to release it. Your nervous system is reset, your sleep improves, your heart rate slows, your stress reduces. Mindful of your body, your thoughts, your breath creates a deep rhythmic calming to be able to see things as they are. Truly a moving meditation, it is a vital to your overall wellbeing.

I invite you to make a self-care commitment to making this practice essential. A ‘not-to-be-missed’ weekly practice – every Tuesday with me!
