Have you given yourself the gift of a slowed down yoga practice?! A practice that brings you into a full somatic experience, feeling your way through your being?!

Restorative yoga is a way to bring consciousness to your relaxation. It allows you to be in the moment, to become aware of where the tension lives, to learn how to release it. Your nervous system is reset, your sleep improves, your heart rate slows, your stress reduces. Mindful of your body, your thoughts, your breath creates a deep rhythmic calming to be able to see things as they are. Truly a moving meditation, it is a vital to your overall wellbeing.

I invite you to make a self-care commitment to making this practice essential. A ‘not-to-be-missed’ weekly practice – every Tuesday with me!

Birds. Landing softly on the fragile stem, as if it is the most natural thing in the world. Unafraid of the wobbliness, holding steady to the truth of where it needs to be. Gathering, foraging, gazing. Being.

Watching, I gain an understanding, a clarity of the seemingly precarious places I am being called to land. Their example inspires me to flight, to land softly, surely. To find the courage to be as they are.

This quote encompasses the experience of my women's retreat. We will gather, circle together, in an unending, ever fluid, place to be held, to be listened to, to feel safe to be you. In this space of commonality, we practice together, breathe together, share stories and meals, laughter and tears. Connections are created. We find ourselves feeling supported, feeling honored, ready to embrace the parts of ourselves we may have forgotten, we may have abandoned. Ready to align more deeply with our soul, rise to new awareness of who we truly are, to voice our soul!

January begins with a sparkle! For many of us, that fades quickly. The holiday lights are down, the festivities are over, the hustle and bustle has slowed. We find ourselves in a quiet time, full of expectations and intentions, yet drained of energy. This post-holiday emptiness can make it feel like a month of Mondays.

Often, we find ourselves trying to make it different. Rather . . .
