Aftercare Support Group!
Join us Thursdays at 6:00 PM at our Outpatient Building:
📍 3570 S. West Temple, South Salt Lake

No matter where you are in your recovery journey, you don’t have to walk it alone.

This weekly group is a supportive space led by Peer Support Specialists and Haven Alumni who truly understand the path. Whether you’re new into recovery outside of our IOP or just looking to reconnect with other alumni, you’re welcome.

❄️💚 Residential Downtown Team Takes the Ice Bucket Challenge! 💚❄️
In honor of Mental Health Awareness, our Residential team took the plunge—literally! 🪣💦 With cheers all around, our residents had the ice-cold pleasure of soaking the very staff who’ve supported them through thick and thin. 😄

Moments like these remind us that healing happens in community—with courage, connection, and a little bit of fun along the way. 💪💚

We’re beyond proud of our residents and thankful for a team that leads with heart (and doesn’t mind a little splash)!

We’re a fun and hard-working team making a real impact in the lives of individuals on their recovery journey. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for helping others and who is ready to bring their skills and heart to the job.

**📅 Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
**💰 Pay:** \$19.50 – \$20.50/hour (DOE & Skill)
**📍 Location:**South Salt Lake
**✨ Position:** Full-Time,

**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Client Support:** Be the first point of contact for clients entering the program, guiding them through the intake process.
* **Processing & Scheduling:** Handle screening forms, verify eligibility, and coordinate assessments.
* **Collaboration:** Work closely with clinicians, medical teams, and external partners to ensure smooth transitions and support.
* **Data Management:** Maintain accurate records using Google Sheets and Best Notes, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
* **Motivational Support:** Use motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients and support their treatment journey.

# # # ✔️ **What We’re Looking For:**

* Compassionate and reliable, with a deep understanding of substance use recovery.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable with technology (Google Sheets, Best Notes, etc.).
* Experience with Medicaid/insurance verification is a plus.
* Peer Support Certification is a bonus, but not required.

* **\$19.50 – \$20.50/hour** based on experience and skills.
* **13 paid holidays** and **11 days of PTO** in your first year.

OUR MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

The Haven offers both residential treatment and sober living programs for men and women struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol. All of The Haven's facilities are conveniently located near downtown Salt Lake City, within walking distance of UTA TRAX and the University of Utah. Individuals needing help to stay sober find extra support with The Haven's Sober Living Program. While residents work on the skills needed to live alcohol and drug-free, The Haven Alumni show residents that life without drugs and alcohol can be fun and exciting. The Haven has been has been a leader in treating substance misuse disorders in Utah since 1969. Recovery from alcohol and substance abuse is possible.
