☀️ Happy UV Safety Month! Let’s talk about UV sensitivity and how your eye color plays a role.

🔵 🟢 People with blue or lighter eyes have less melanin in their irises. That means less natural protection from UV rays and bright light.

🟤 Brown eyes have more melanin, so they are better at filtering UV and intense light. But… 🛑 That doesn’t mean they're immune to damage!

Those who work the night shift will also find that they become much more sensitive to light. 

No matter your eye color, it is important to:

🕶️ WEAR SUNGLASSES: 100% UV protection is key
🎩 Add a wide-brimmed hat for extra shade
🚗 Use polarized lenses when driving
💻 Indoors? Try blue light filters if you’re screen-heavy
