Home Run In-Kind Corporate Sponsor: Discovery Gateway Children's Museum

Donated 4 admission tickets to the Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum of Utah valued at $54!

Discovery Gateway’s programs and exhibits are designed to address the many ways that children learn, as well as to help parents understand and support their children’s development. Our engaging and interactive activities inspire creative play and learning, and fun for the entire family.

Formerly The Children’s Museum of Utah, our organization was founded in 1978 by a group of parents, educators, and community leaders who believed that children learn the best through “doing.” In 2006, The Children’s Museum of Utah moved into our 60,000 square-foot, world-class facility and officially became Discovery Gateway children’s museum.

We strive to ensure that our board, staff, and programming reflect our community’s diversity and seek to include partners from various communities to better represent our diverse city. We also recognize barriers that may prevent attendance and seek to create greater equitable access to the museum. We want to ensure that our culture feels welcoming and inclusive and endeavor to create community days and events that celebrate multicultural holidays and celebrations to engage new visitors.

Home Run In-Kind Food Corporate Sponsor: Lee's Marketplace Stores

Donated nourishment for the Fun Run!

In 1981 Lee and Shari Badger had their start in the grocery business by purchasing a small grocery store in Smithfield called Jack's Foodtown. Over the next few years, the store was remodeled several times, finally doubling in size by 1991. Meanwhile, the north end of Cache Valley was growing so rapidly that spring of 1994 brought the grand opening of Lee's Marketplace, a larger, brand-new building directly across the street from Jack's Foodtown. This new store included an exciting new pharmacy, deli, scratch bakery and expanded departments. After 13 years and with this new location, Lee and Shari dropped the name of Jack's Foodtown and began the legacy of Lee's Marketplace.

Lee loved greeting each of his customers and looking at them as guests in his stores. He valued getting to know his employees and recognized the people around him, the people that made Lee's what it is. Lee Badger left a legacy of bright, clean, and friendly grocery stores. His stores were competitive in pricing, well-stocked, bright, maintained, and clean.

Lee's carries on the traditions started in 1981 retaining their core values of friendly service, respect, integrity, exceptional, neat & clean, and dependable.

Lee's Marketplace believes that grocery shopping should be a fun and enjoyable experience for our Team and our Guests. We will continually improve the expertise of our team, commit to providing freshness and quality in our products, and provide a clean, safe shopping environment. Lee's Marketplace pledges to support the local communities in which we serve and to have integrity in all that we do.

Locally owned and operated Utah company including 6 locations: Smithfield, Logan, North Ogden, Heber, North Salt Lake, and Herriman. Committed to giving guests quality products in a clean and friendly environment. Lee's pledges to support its local communities.
