This patient had upper lid blepharoplasty performed to eliminate the bothersome excess thin skin. The result is subtle but certainly more youthful.

Dr. Oberg performed upper lid blepharoplasty and eyelid ptosis repair for this patient. These two procedures are sometimes performed together. Blepharoplasty involves removing excess skin from the eyelid. In eyelid ptosis repair, the muscles responsible for opening the eyelid are tightened. The result is a lighter, brighter more open eye.
