It's all about symmetry! Because of a complex network of evolutionary and cognitive mechanisms, our brains interpret symmetrical features as being more beautiful. This patient had stunning features to begin with, and Dr. Oberg was able to create improved symmetry for her. Procedures included upper lid blepharoplasty, fat transposition on the right, eyelid ptosis repair and internal brow sculpting on the left. We just love the elevated result!

Our team is growing again and Dr. Oberg finally has another guy in the gang! Please help us welcome Trevor to the Still Canyon crew. Here is a little more about him. (Editor's note: I'm not sure what surprised me more - working as a gold miner or loving black licorice!)

When did you join the Still Canyon Plastics team?
September 2025.

What is the most interesting job you've ever had?
I worked as an underground gold miner.

What do you love about working at Still Canyon Plastics?
I love working with our patients and helping them feel cared for.

Do you have any special skills/superpowers?
I have gotten pretty good at memorizing lyrics to songs and like to think I have good recall with names.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Spring Creek, Nevada. It is a small town of about 15,000 people.

What team do you cheer loudest for?
Los Angeles Chargers

Is there something everyone else loves but you hate or vice versa?
I don't like tomatoes and avocado, but on the flipside - I love black licorice.

What do you do for fun outside of work?
I love to spend time with my wife and our dog, Hope. She goes with us on pretty much every adventure.

Any other fun facts about you?
I write stories for fun although I am not sure I will let anyone read them! I have two younger brothers and they are my best friends. I have a pretty big sweet tooth and I enjoy kung-fu movies :)

Dr. Oberg performed upper lid blepharoplasty (removal of excess eyelid skin) as well as ptosis repair (tightening of muscles in the upper eyelid) for this patient. The result is more open eyes and improved symmetry. We love the beautiful outcome!

When did you join the Still Canyon Plastics team?
I joined the Still Canyon Plastics team in June 2025.

What is the most interesting job you've ever had?
I worked at Primary Children's Hospital as a dental assistant. It was a very rewarding job to help the sick kiddos receive the best dental care.

What do you love about working at Still Canyon Plastics?
I love getting to know the patients and working with Dr. Oberg and this great team!

What do you love about SLC/Utah?
I love the beautiful views and mountains that Utah offers.

Where did you grow up?
Born and raised in Salt Lake City!

Favorite restaurant in SLC?
Texas Roadhouse, Tucanos, and Arempas. (Editor's note: I had to look it up. Venezuelan food, and it is definitely getting added to my list of restaurants to try!)

What team do you cheer loudest for?
Utah Utes!

What do you do for fun outside of work?
I love outdoor activities and being in nature. I spend quality time with family and friends.
