People are People, NOT property.
The Declaration of Independence states simply,
“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
ALL PEOPLE hold the same rights no matter their color, their gender, their class, their faith, their s*x, or any other discriminatory basis one can manufacture.
There is no difference in rights from one human to another.
Today, Amethyst Center for Healing celebrates the day slavery was abolished in the United States of America—Juneteenth, National Freedom Day—and we look forward towards a future where nothing stands in the way of any person to obtain and uphold their undeniable, fundamental right
to Live,
to Love,
to Exist,
& to do so with Absolute Freedom.
So we say,
LET FREEDOM RING! 🔔
