This week has been spent preparing tinctures, oils, bundles of straw for brooms and smudging, and realizing that to be one with the land, you have to be in communion with it and it with you. If you observe but don't take part, you can't be living in the fullness of participation and therefore become deeply one.

Ritual with nature is ritual with the self.

I had a great session assisting someone today through Spiritual Work.

It means a lot to embrace yourself as a Conduit of Spirit.

I try my best to be honorable, grateful, humble, and kind.

Not all shamanic work is kind, but there is a delicate balance.

I consider myself a grey worker, dabbling in light, dark, and all that is entangled between and around to leave myself open to all Spirits' messages and wisdom.

To deny any part of a whole, is to deny oneself and the fabric of our weaving.. H.A.L.

A clip of a mask birth ceremony after creating a new mask for shamanic work.

The shaman's mask is used to connect with the spirits, which are welcomed by the materials on the mask.

It also serves as a tool to enter and remain in the trance state that shamans find themselves in when doing "spiritual work."

Each mask is crafted with the intention and purpose of channeling specific energies into any ritual or ceremony.

This was made from ground harvested goose feathers, an eagle eye patch, and elk fur that was gifted to me by Standing Rock years ago. It is adorned with the jewels I wore on my shoes in my first training and a rainbow cord to convey the power of equality, unity, harmony and connection.

Saluting this mask, I was able to share the connection and channel with an special Guide, Eastern European ancestor, as well as crow, eagle, and goose. Thank you for watching.

I want to set a record straight.

There are alot of opinions going around about what a Shaman is or isn't, should and shouldn't do.

For instance, some say that Shamans that practice can only be from Indigenous Native American communities...

Or

From Indigenous Spanish and South American traditions.

This couldn't be further from the truth.

Alot of Medicine Work and Psychoactive/Psychotropic work does come from these cultures form of Shamanic tradition, but the rest of the World had their own medicine practices and traditions that are innately Spiritual and are similar intention and mission for connection to Earth and Spirit.

Furthermore, not all those who practice with Medicine are Shamans, and not all those who are Shamans work with Psychoactive plants.

The word "Shaman" comes from Siberian and Ural Mongolian origins and the rituals and training of Spirit work within that range and from being forced out, merging with Russian influence and migration the children from these traditions form hundred of years ago are now all over the World.

Some of them used Psychoactive substances but most didn't and mostly just worked with other herbal medicines for helaung and Facilitation and Ceremony/Connection.
There is also reason to believe with research and philanthropic exploration that the first Shamans were female.

There are also Germanic and Celtic Shamanic traditions in Europe that align very closely with the same rituals and traditions that are from those origins.

I do not work with psychoactive or Psychotropic Medicine but am Apprenticed from Lilith Moon who was trained from Siberian Shamanism with blood DNA that originates in my Ancestral line. As a Shaman I perform in ritual, Ceremony, and Soul Work to help clients and loved ones as well as to create healing with our Great Mother and Father Sky and the bridge in-between.
