Just got back from visiting The great salt lake. Oh my goodness such a special convergious of many rivers.. but there is no outlet. It just happens all from evaporation. It is thriving with great waves and muddy plies of healthy goo. Very well protected. I flew over the lake when I was a young lady , so beautiful on the ground and up in the sky. All sorts of people there speaking all different languages.

Doing what you dream of can actually be a reality. However, we have to trust that we all have spirit and deceased love one looking out for us. They are helping to create our souls journey instead of the other way around. I woke on my own, before the sun came up trusting that I am going to have an adventure all the way day to fitting into the clothes that I resisted sweats and a t shirt and tennis shoes. You know what it has been an adventure with the gentleness guidance of spirit. I had my required sleep, food, water and love.

In the spirit of diversity, I aim for a more novel, less commonly eaten food every week. This week, it's the rooty RUTABAGA! The one that I bought at the store yesterday is an organic, purple and yellow variety, so I'll be getting the added benefit of those purple pigments, which we know are healthful for the gut-brain axis.

Rutabagas are good sources of fiber (very filling), potassium, and certain vitamins and minerals. They are part of the cruciferous vegetable family. I prepare them by cutting them up into bite-size pieces, and boiling them in a saucepan with water until soft. Sometimes, I cube them, place them on a tray with some olive oil and bake until soft.
