Lifestat Ambulance - Station 90 Providing Advanced Life Support service to the borough of Saltsburg and the townships of Conemaugh, Young, Loyalhanna, Bell and surrounding areas.

Located in Indiana County, Station 90 also covers parts of Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties. Lifestat Ambulance also staff's a second station 24/7/365 in Swissvale, PA. This station operates the hub of Lifestat's transport division. Providing ALS/BLS and Critical Care Non-Emergency Transportation to the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.

Our Story

Lifestat Ambulance Service Inc. started as a small town rural ambulance service that had been providing advanced life support services to the residents in and around Saltsburg, Pennsylvania for more than twenty years.

Lifestat added an additional station located in Swissvale, PA in 2009 which provides transfers, both emergency and non-emergency.

Lifestat currently operates nine advanced life support ambulances. Lifestat answers over five thousand calls for service yearly, including transports.

Our calls consist primarily of: • Emergencies , 911 Dispatched • Transfers ,emergency and non emergency • Medical coverage and support for race events, fire and weather emergencies • Coverage for three school districts, providing advanced life support for sports events and major school functions. • Responses to two major rivers and dams in conjunction with local volunteer fire department river rescue teams.
