Located just outside of Saluda, South Carolina, Saluda Nursing and Rehab Center is a non-profit 176-bed nursing care facility, serving the Midlands and Lakelands since 1968.

This Wednesday, we had the great opportunity to honor a legend in skilled nursing, Debra Shealy, RN, with a special drop-in celebration. Mrs. Shealy has served over 32 years at Saluda Nursing Center with the last 9 being the Director of Nursing. This year, Mrs. Shealy will “retire” from the DON position, but will remain active as our Unit Manager for A&B and Sawyer Units. We thank her for her many years of service.

Join us tomorrow, January 28, 2PM-3PM for a drop-in to celebrate Debra Shealy, RN for her dedicated years of service as our Director of Nursing. While Mrs. Shealy is "retiring" her role as DON, she is not leaving our facility. She will continue to serve as the Unit Manager for A&B and Sawyer Units. Come out and help us celebrate Mrs. Shealy!

On December 17, we held our 2025 Service Awards Program recognizing employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, etc. consecutive years with the organization. In addition, we honored three individuals who retired during the year. All together, these 26 distinguished staff members provided a combined 363 years of service to our organization! Chair of the SNC Board, Rev. Doris Hicks, and our Administrator & CEO, Dayna Y. Bledsoe, NHA both delivered messages of appreciation and gratitude to our staff. To our employees, we are grateful for your dedicated service to our residents and to our great community. Please help us congratulate each employee on their special milestone!

We were thrilled to have students from the Hollywood Elementary Honors Society today. They brought Christmas presents, played BINGO with the residents, and sang some festive Christmas carols. We were happy to be part of their service project!
