WA Massage Therapists! I found this out at the American Massage Therapy Association- WA Chapter Leadership conference this weekend—there is a new software to renew your license and post your CE’s.

Did you know that the public may be more likely to see a massage therapist than a doctor for their healthcare needs? As a massage therapist, you are in a unique position to assist clients through your work, but also by referring them out to other specialists they may need. You will receive an introduction to the practice of case management using a client-centered approach, treatment evaluation, SOAP note documentation, ethical communication, and the process of case management.

To my California peeps: If your business was damaged by the flooding, a state of emergency was declared over the weekend and you might be able to get funding to help. You would want to document physical or economic damage and contact your county's Office of Emergency Management. The Small Business Administration has several programs that provide loans and other assistance to businesses and individuals affected by disasters.
