𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻: Our Service Request Handlers work with the Customer to review their requirements and options. We work together to create and review a plan for the service event. This plan informs the framework that will be used to manage the service event.

Meet Our Team, Viraj Shah, Founder and CEO
Viraj launched MedServ Marketplace in November of 2023. For this week's newsletter, we asked Viraj to tell us about his journey. This is his response.

What should people know about you?
I was the kid who loved exploring how things worked, and that curiosity grew into a passion for understanding complex systems and configurations. This passion drove me to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, launching my career as a Field Service Engineer at Philips Medical Systems. Over the years, I transitioned into leadership roles at GE Healthcare and Amazon, where I honed my skills in product management, operations, and business strategy. My 16+ years of experience in these roles equipped me with a deep understanding of the healthcare services landscape and inspired me to create MedServ Marketplace—a platform dedicated to solving the challenges I’ve seen firsthand. I live in Seattle with my wife, Smiral, and our two daughters, Aarna and Inaya, who bring creativity and joy into my life, and fuel my drive to innovate and build something lasting for our community. I’ve also been deeply involved in community initiatives through organizations like PJM US and GCAU. Programs like Igniting Minds, Built for Girls, and United Way’s Day of Giving have allowed me to mentor young minds, support diverse talent, and give back to the community. These experiences—both professional and personal—shape the values I bring to MedServ Marketplace and its mission to revolutionize healthcare service delivery.

With 4-hour and 8-hour options, MedServ Staff provides Healthcare Providers with flexible staffing options. Our Customers find this program helpful when tackling special projects or covering their HTM department while employees are out of the office.
