Foothills Mental Health We are a small mental health/ therapy services provider in San Andreas, CA & telehealth in NV & CA. She is licensed to practice in California and Nevada.

"Foothills Mental Health Licensed Clinical Social Worker PC" is a outpatient mental health/private practice owned by Pilar Majors, a licensed clinical social worker experienced in working with rural families, youth, and adults. She has developed a strong focus on skill building and empowerment to help individuals process experiences, develop healthy relationships and support systems, manage strong emotions, and reach their goals in life through Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems. Pilar grew up in a rural town, and since moving to Calaveras County in 2018, has found it very familiar in all its strengths and unique challenges economically, socially, and geographically. She enjoys helping others learn to thrive here and in nearby communities, and hopes to bring many needed mental health services to this area in the coming years. If you are a local interested in a masters internship, please reach out! We are proud to announce our hiring of clinician Sarah Medzk, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in February 2025 to add her extensive lived and professional experience with childhood depression and anxiety, and her speciality training and experience as a s*x therapist helping clients with anxiety about dating, s*xual function, and emotional intimacy; those coping with a breakup or divorce, or recovering from s*xual trauma; those learning to live and love within the context of their abilities or medical conditions; those interested in exploring kink, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and many other aspects of gender, s*xuality, and relationship dynamics and well-being. Sarah will be offering services on a sliding scale, with virtual-only evening and weekend availability. We do not offer court-ordered s*xual perpetrator services at this time. FMHLCSWPC welcomes all q***r and LGBTQ identities, and all spiritual backgrounds.
