🌸 SPRING SKIN REMINDER:
your skin barrier is smarter than social media and influencers.

Let’s clear a few things up:

• Oily skin still needs moisturizer
When you skip it, your skin can and will produce MORE oil to compensate. Hydration helps regulate oil production. It does not increase it.

• Higher SPF is not automatically better
SPF 100 is not double SPF 50. After SPF 30 to 50, protection increases only slightly. Reapplication matters more than chasing the highest number.

• Pores do not open and close
They do not have muscles. Heat can loosen debris temporarily, but pore size is influenced by genetics, oil production, improper exfoliation, and collagen loss.

• “Natural” does not always mean safer
Poison ivy is natural too. Irritation depends on ingredients and formulation, not marketing.

• Sunscreen is not just for sunny days
UVA rays, the aging rays, pe*****te clouds and windows. Daily use protects collagen year round and helps slow visible aging.

Healthy skin is not about doing more.
It is about doing what actually works.

If your skin feels reactive, congested, or inconsistent, your barrier may need support.
