Dani McDonald has been flying with AirMed for nearly four years. A San Angelo native, Dani earned her BSN from ASU and gained valuable experience in the Shannon ED before transitioning into flight medicine.

Drawn to the science of healthcare and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in critical moments, Dani quickly found her calling at AirMed. Along with her clinical role, she serves on our quality committee and assists with education coordination.

When asked about her favorite part of the job, Dani didn’t hesitate: β€œWithout a doubt, my coworkers. They’re exceptional and the best at what they do. This team continuously helps me grow to be a better nurse.”

We’re grateful for Dani’s dedication, professionalism, and heart for her community. She is truly an invaluable part of the AirMed family!

Great day of training with this incredible class of San Angelo Fire Department recruits! They gained hands-on experience with difficult airway management - both in and out of the aircraft - and reviewed landing zone safety practices. We are always excited to collaborate with SAFD and be a part of their training.
