Hello Fellow Steepsters!! Here are some General Brewing Tips:

Tea: Place 1-2 teaspoons (about 2g) of tea into 8 ounces (1 cup) of hot water, cover and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea and enjoy!
For Black tea & Herbs add to boiling water.
For Oolong & White Tea wait for 1-2 minutes after boiling water before adding tea.
For Green tea wait for 3-4 minutes after boiling water before adding tea.

1 ounce of tea makes approximately 14-16 cups or 1 gallon. Brewed Teas and Herbs will last 2-3 days in the fridge.

Decoction: Using a small sauce pan, place 1-2 teaspoons (about 2g) of herb &/or tea and for powdered herb use 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon into 8 ounces (1 cup) of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover & simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat, strain and dilute to taste* (liquid is more concentrated).
*Note: do not taste if using topically.

Additional measurements for using most powdered herbs are approximately 1\8 to 1\2 tsp per dose or ( 1/2 tsp of powder for steeping as a tea).
