Yoga San Angelo was created to promote health and happiness through the ancient teachings of yoga and holistic healing.

We are a community of experienced and passionate yogi’s and practitioners that are dedicating to exploring growth through the ancient practices of yoga, meditation, and awareness. Our intention and purpose is derived from the deep desire to live, learn, and share the truth of life and living at our fullest potential. We are here to create and nurture a foundation in who we truly are at the core of our individual souls. Uniting and aligning with the wisdom that is innately in us all. We are here to guide and lift each other up to a state completeness and wholeness, to shine as bright as we all are able to shine. May the breath lead us to the present moment of understanding our our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. As we learn more about our own inner resources and the guidance of spirit. -Namaste

YSA Founder Introduction:

My name is Brea Burke and I am a 500 hour registered yoga teacher. I have been teaching a vinyasa hatha flow style asana since 2009. I did my original 200 hour vinyasa training in Playa del Carmen, Mexico with Ellen de Jonge. Since then, I have completed over 300 hours of advanced hatha yoga training at Yoga Yoga in Austin, Texas. My purpose and intention is to expand awareness around whole body healing, movement, breath, consciousness, what it means to be present, and devotion. My drive is fueled by spirit connection, self reflection, and pure compassion. All I want to do is share the powerful benefits yoga offers the mind, the body, and the spirit. It’s about finding a effective tool that can help all of us maintain a balanced and energetically connected life that brings in depth, meaning, and purpose.
