Texas Spine Care Center is partnering with South Texas Blood & Tissue to host a meaningful blood drive in memory of San Antonio residents, Penny Jeffery, Emlyn Jeffery and their granddaughter Madelyn—who lost their lives in the July 4 Texas floods. Thank you to David Chancellor and News 4 San Antonio for allowing us to share this event with the public. We hope it is a way to honor their memory while saving lives in honor of all those affected by the floods.

Employee Spotlight: Brandon Bell, PT, DPT�Director of Therapy Services, eXact PT

As Director of Therapy Services, Brandon brings five years of experience, serious know-how, and just the right amount of humor to keep things fun while getting people back on track.

“I get fulfillment by helping people with their physical problems,” he says. “And I get to sharpen my skills and knowledge every day.” That curiosity and drive to improve shows up in every patient interaction.

Brandon’s approach to care is simple and effective: listen first, observe movement, simplify the solution, give a clear plan, and then reassess. “We aim to treat the person, not just the condition,” he says. And when that mindset is shared across the whole team, it makes a big impact.

“My team... we have fun every single day and make sure our patients do too,” Brandon shares. “We treat everyone like family, and we genuinely care about their progress.”

One moment that stands out? A patient who came in after trying just about everything for their back pain. “They didn’t have much hope left,” Brandon says. “But by the time they finished with us, they were out of pain and moving better than ever.” On their last day, the patient told him, “I’ve never been to a place like this before. You guys really know how to target the right areas, and you make PT fun.”

That’s the kind of feedback that fuels Brandon—and the entire eXact PT team.

Employee Spotlight: Quincie Moran, Patient Care Coordinator
The PREOP Center & Texas Spine Care Center

Even though she’s only with us for the summer, Quincie Moran has quickly become a bright spot on our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, she’s the friendly face patients see when they walk through our doors—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I love getting to be part of a patient’s day, even if it’s just for a few minutes,” Quincie says. “Asking how they’re doing, taking vitals, having a quick chat—it all adds up.”

What makes her job even better? The people around her. “Everyone here is so welcoming. I’ve never once questioned if I belonged.”

For Quincie, making a difference doesn’t require grand gestures. “You never know what someone’s going through. If I can make them smile or feel a little more at ease, that means everything.”

She still remembers a patient who left a glowing review after their brief conversation. “That really stuck with me. Just being kind made a real impact.”

As Quincie heads back to school this fall, we’ll definitely miss her heart, humor, and the warmth she brought to our summer.
