As I short vacay with my family before the start of another busy school year begins, I thought I’d share a scene from one of the places that helps my body and brain “reset”. Everyone, but especially every parent, needs to find slices of time to connect with places that reset their mind and body. Being an “integrated parent” means you continually check in with yourself and know what you need as well as what your child needs.

Some kiddos are so distracted by what they are doing, that they ignore their body’s cues until they can’t hold it any longer. Then, they end up having leaking or some small bowl movements in their pants as they try to get to the toilet I. A hurry.
