I was honored and grateful that I could do a small part in helping the 1st the Responders & volunteers who have been working tirelessly from dawn to dusk searching for the missing. Stories of sorrow and hope. Comrogdaitity and compassion among strangers. Grateful that Jessi LMT Boerne started this volunteer opportunity for License Massage Therapists to provide massage therapy & stretching to those in need. And ALL were in need. The volunteers and 1st responders work so hard in unimaginable conditions and terrain walking miles, swinging ax’s , using chainsaws, and digging holes for over 12 hours at a time. I heard the stories, saw the tears, and met the most amazing hero’s . My faith in humanity restored. It was my honor to help Jessi provide a few minutes of pain relief to stiff, sore and tired muscles and exhausted bodies. The appreciation and sometimes tears filled my heart. Jessi wants to start a non profit Massage Therapy program to continue to assist those 1st responders and volunteers in times of disaster. I commend her and will continue to support and work with Jessi for the cause she’s passionate about. Thank you to her , my dear friends and family who helped me gather supplies and support.
