Hello Everyone! My name is Dawn Patterson of Massage & Bodywork by Dawn (Zena) .. I am a licensed massage therapist specializing in Ashiatsu, and Thai Massage (Assisted Stretching) here in San Antonio, Texas.
My passion for anatomy and therapeutic massage guided me to Thai Massage, which led me to Barefoot Massage. As a lifelong student, with a fierce determination I was able to receive certifications in all things FasciAshi. On a quest to continue my knowledge I traveled to Thailand to attend Thai Massage School and received my Certification. I also recently received a Certification as a Performance Stretch Practitioner.
My drive comes from my determination to help others, and a fascination with anatomy. Whether its assisted stretching, and/or deep tissue massage. I combine knowledge, compassion, and intuition with an intention of creating a pathway to your wellness.
When Iā€™m not working, Iā€™m attending college part time (working on my Bachelorā€™s degree) and taking more certification classes to broaden my knowledge of all things Ashiatsu, anatomy and massage therapy.
I have two grown children who are my best friends, and 8 grandchildren whom I enjoy every minute I can with them.
Aside from my career and quality time with my family, I am traveling the globe near and far..
