It’s ACOG Residency Wellness day 5, a day for gratitude and reflection. What a wonderful, well week it’s been. 🌸Let’s take a moment to look back on our annual residency retreats, where we take time to spend all together and reflect on the good things and the things that could be improved. Thanks to our faculty and APPs who cover the hospital to make that happen each year. Let us also be grateful for the mentorship our program fosters, formal and informal, between faculty and residents and upper and lower level residents. ✨ ACOG Wellness Week
Advocacy & Social Justice

For many of us this opportunity is one of the main reasons we chose this speciality.

This week we have partnered with one of local women’s shelters, Haven for Hope for a menstrual product drive. Many of our residents continue to be engaged with ACOG at the local and national level and bring the same excitement and passion for equitable care to our patients everyday.

In San Antonio, caring for a diverse community reminds us: advocacy starts with listening — and continues through action.

We will continue to provide care for our patients and fight for their protection in all avenues and facets.
