I didn't have plans for Halloween this year since I've been focusing on our move, but I decided to go to this weekend to at least do a bit of celebrating with a friend. It's such a cute little goth cafe, and the treats are so delicious! 🥞 They even do tarot readings, too! 🔮

Going to be trying my deck that my friend, , gifted me (please follow her and support her. She's a talented reader). 🖤 The theme for this one is familiars, and the art is very pretty. It almost reminds me of old 80s fantasy movies.

Does anyone have a familiar by any chance? I don't have a big connection to animals like most do, and it really wasn't a part of my mom's practice growing up, so that wasn't something I had experienced. Though, there was a cat (I'll be honest, I'm not a cat person) that followed me home once, and he was often around my dorm on campus. I wondered if it was a protector, considering I walked around by myself many times heading home. Many cultures consider cats a part of the supernatural, so it was interesting that I was able to witness this firsthand. Nice to know I wasn't alone at night heading in.

Recentmy attended a water lantern festival. One of my travel dreams is to see the lantern festival in Thailand, and one of the reasons it's celebrated is to symbolize new beginnings. I made a wish by the water as I sailed mine to have next year run smoothly as I open up a new chapter in a new city. I'm putting all the trust into the universe that things go smoothly. A lot has been on my mind these days on what will happen once I get there (my overthinking is my worst enemy for sure), but I have this feeling I'm meant to move and will find where I need to be once there.

Thoughts are more powerful than you think. If anything, they're the key to everything we do to accomplish what we want or need from spells to even prayers no matter your belief. Something I learned the hard way, but now I'm a lot wiser thanks to it. With this year coming to an end, I'm ready.

When I first started practicing, I thought angels were only part of the Christian belief, but angels are actually universal no matter what practice or religion you are a part of. There is always some belief in guardian angels or those watching over us, whether it be our guides or loved ones. I rarely use a guardian angel candle, but it brings peace and comfort when I do. This is great for general protection, peace in your home, or ease away any anxiety or worries.

The island where my grandparents are from, Saõ Miguel, is named after Michael, the archangel. He is known as a protector to most. He is the angel she is connected to the most, and she has done a lot of work with him. I don't really have an archangel I have connected to yet, but I have had experiences with Chamuel and Gabriel randomly showing up in dreams or random messages. I even prayed to Raphael when a good friend of mine passed away. I do know my grandfather is my number one angel with me at all times, though, even visiting me in my dreams.

Anyone have any beliefs about the veil? I still debate about it, and unsure if I believe in it or not. I don't believe in the matrix, so I often find it too similar to that.

Though I do believe 3am to 4:30am is a very powerful time range. I've awoken from detailed dreams and even felt those who have passes contain a stronger presence. It feels very surreal that's for sure.
