The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation around the age of 7. At this age, they will have a mix of baby and permanent teeth, which allows our orthodontists to assess their bite and jaw development. ✨ BRACES TIP THURSDAY ✨
Brushing and flossing after every meal is extra important when you have braces! 🦷🍽️
Food can easily get stuck in brackets and wires, which can lead to plaque buildup and cavities.

✅ Brush after every meal
✅ Floss daily (yes, even with braces!)
✅ Rinse with water if you’re on-the-go
