is a Licensed Acupuncturist, and the founder of Red Raven Acupuncture.

He specializes in holistic pain management and sports injury recovery, not just helping with pain relief, but the ability to move again. When people can’t be active, everything starts to slow down: energy, mood, and outlook on life. Bret is here to help break that cycle, to get you moving, feeling better, and reconnecting with life.

Bret came to Traditional Chinese Medicine through Tai Chi and Qi Gong. The art of connecting breath, movement, and energy as a health practice completely changed how he understood health. This path led him to study at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine and eventually to teach there.

Currently, he still teach Tai Chi and Qi Gong here in San Antonio, and he brings that same mindful movement into his acupuncture practice. Every treatment is about restoring flow physically, emotionally, and energetically.

He truly believes people can get better. He has seen it happen too many times to ever lose faith in the process. Healing takes time, trust, and partnership which is what he offered to his patients.

Living with pain or feeling stuck in your body doesn’t have to be normal and it doesn’t have to stay that way. Bret is ready to partner with you on your path to healing.

Located in the historic Wong Grocery in Southtown, Red Raven is a part of the growing number of healthcare providers, located in the historic Wong Grocery in Southtown. Our entrance is located right next to Southtown Juice on the second floor “creative offices”.

At Red Raven we approach healing from a “big picture” perspective. The core of Chinese Medical thinking is not about treating disease, but about creating a long and healthy life, and that means we have to not only treat you when you're in the office, but help you create habits that benefit longevity, and give you the tools to optimize that. Typically patients will start with an initial one-on-one visit to determine the full scope of their case and their immediate treatment needs.
