The Coronavirus outbreak and neighborhood pharmacies

Just before the new year, the world caught a glimpse of a novel coronavirus erupting from Wuhan, China late December. Assuming it would arise and diminish in little time, the country mistook it as “being like the flu”, laughing at overreacting countries and continuing with normal activities. We were wrong. Now heading into April, outbreaks of COVID-19 have metastasized all over the world with ongoing devastating impacts on Italy, China, and New York. As we prepare for massive devastation on a larger scale, this is what is going through the mind of a Pharmacist technician amid the chaos.
